The new Parish Centre Events Committee held a highly successful parish BBQ on Sunday 15th August 4.00 pm - 7.00 pm at the Parish Centre. Over three hundred people attended and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon's weather, great food and music. Numerous activities were provided including face-painting, bouncy castle, nail art, rodeo bull, penalty kick competition against Derry's finest, Barry Gillis, and sponge stocks, where even Fr Gates got a soaking. A very enjoyable evening was had by all and many thanks to all who helped in any way.
