UPDATE – Fr. Gates remains in the Royal Victoria Hospital and will require surgery over the next few weeks.  He is comfortable and is expected to make a full recovery.  During his stay in hospital and in preparation for his upcoming treatment plan, his medical team have insisted on very limited phone contact and have restricted hospital visits to family members only.  Fr. Gates thanks you all for keeping him in your thoughts and prayers at this time.
