PARISH     BUILDING FUND

We wish to thank all     those who have contributed so generously to our Parish Building Fund for     the works in the Church of the Our Lady of the Assumption.  The fund raising ends next Sunday &     we are nearing our target for the works.      We appeal to those who haven’t yet contributed to consider doing so     as we make a final big push towards the end of the appeal.  The total amount raised will be announced     mid-July.  Envelopes are available at     all entrances to the Churches, from the Sacristy or the Parish Office.

GRAVEYARD SUNDAY & BLESSING OF THE     GRAVES Sunday     29 June at 3pmParking will be available in Rossa     Park.  No parking at Church gate,     drop-off only for disabled and elderly.      We ask parishioners to please tend to their graves in     preparation.  Many older graves have     no-one to care for them & we appeal to anyone who may be available this     week to volunteer for a couple of hours to help John Niblock tend those     graves.  Alternatively please tend to     any neglected grave close to your family grave by removing weeds etc.  We thank everyone for their help in this     regard.  Milltown is a graveyard we     can be rightly proud of.  We hope to     unveil & bless a memorial to all     unbaptised children who were buried in     unconsecrated ground at graveyard Sunday.

PARISH     MASS ROCK PILGRIMAGE Please     join us for the Parish Pilgrimage to the Mass Rock in Glenshane Forest on     Sunday 6 July.  We will meet at the     Parish Centre at 10.30am & share cars to the Ponderosa, where most cars     can be parked.  Allow 1.5 / 2 hours     walk each way to the Mass Rock, where Fr Gates will say outdoor Mass, a     beautiful event not to be missed.  Be     prepared for the weather and please bring suitable footwear for this scenic     but occasionally rough walk, which is unfortunately not suitable for     everyone, moderate fitness required.      Bring a packed lunch & plenty of water; for further information     contact roisintohill@hotmail.com     or Fr. Gates.
