  1. HEATING FUNDRAISING

As stated in last week’s     bulletin, we are furnishing each household in the Parish with a donation     pack containing twelve envelopes, July 2013 – June 2014 for monthly     donations.  We would be grateful if     envelope distributers would call to the Parish Centre to collect packs for     their area.  We thank them most     sincerely for their help in this regard and appreciate their time and     effort.

From the first Sunday of     July there will be a second collection after communion when these envelopes     can be returned, in order to keep it separate from the normal     collection.  Any donations will be     gratefully received and we are suggesting that each family try to donate     £200 over the twelve months, less than £4 per week.

Of course one-off     donations will be welcome and those who wish to donate by Direct Debit     should contact Anne in the parish office who will guide you on what to     do.  All donations may be     gift-aided.  We will inform     parishioners how this building fund is going every three months.  Some people have already donated in     advance of the July start and we thank you in anticipation for your     generous response to this much needed appeal in these difficult times.

GRAVEYARD SUNDAY:     Mass and Blessing of the graves in Milltown cemetery will take place next Sunday     30 June at 3pm.  Since there will be     extensive road works on the Castledawson Road, parishioners are asked to     park in O’Donovan Rossa GAC grounds or St. Mary’s Grammar School.  The DOE Roads Service says no one will be     able to park along the roadside due to the road works.  Your cooperation would be     appreciated.  The front of the     cemetery will be a drop-off zone for elderly & infirm only.
